Lenard's Chicken, Wendouree

ACRD are in the business of creating amazing retail stores, but of late our experience has expanded to chickens - farm feed, free range and chemical free chicken. We now know a lot about the humble chook.   Over the last 8 months we have been working on a brand new concept for the very successful franchise, Lenard’s Chicken. So well-known for its iconic look, from white and rusty red tiles to brass details on the cabinets, it takes some of us back to the late 80’s when Lenard’s was making chicken the new white meat. Alongside Lenard’s we have also been cooking chicken with Love Pollo, both of these brands are the passion of Chris Caldwell who is ex Bakers Delight.   With 3 new stores on the ground and a massive expansion program planned for the next few years, Lenard’s and Love Pollo are in the process of opening its third store. With a fourth scheduled to open soon, ACRD don't have time to be free range, we are locked in the pen and making it happen.   Both design concepts are very exciting, with Lenard’s taking on a new fresh farmers market look including featured timber finishes, new display cabinets in the modern square look and keeping that white tile as the signature of the design. Love Pollo on the other hand has expanded into shopping centres [Victoria Garden in Richmond] and is bringing the fresh cooked chicken home to roast and the customers are queuing.   Its is an exciting time for both brands and ACRD is proud of the work we have complete thus far and look forward to building both of these brands into power house franchise groups.
