8th Avenue Watch Co. is a store that sells luxury Swiss watches. ACRD designed the first store, situated in Emporium Melbourne, which has become the basis for designs of several other stores which have also been designed by ACRD. Services: Retail Design, 3D Design Shopfitter: Grange Projects Structural Engineer: Structure by Design Lighting Design: Ambience Overview: “Relaxed luxury” is the mantra that ACRD were tasked with achieving for the design of the 8th Avenue watch boutique at Emporium. The store needed to feel luxurious enough to house the high end swiss watch brands within, yet not alienate the customer who was after a quality watch at a lower price point. Specific joinery for 8th Avenue helped to control the overall look of the multi branded space. A combination of warm timbers and grey tones helped create the relaxed yet luxurious ambience.
